Paper porcelain, hand-building.
The sculpture "Unity" is an attempt to convey the state of weightlessness that one experiences from the loss of a point of reference to the moment of acceptance.
When situations occur unexpectedly for reasons beyond your control, you experience a lot of emotional and physical signs of non-acceptance before accepting the inevitability of negative events.
The process of creating the sculpture itself becomes a way of living through all the stages of "overcoming oneself" on the way to harmony with oneself and the world.
I use porcelain, adding paper. I get thin sheets of it, tear it off one piece at a time and gradually intuitively build up the shape. Putting together "paper scraps" from porcelain, I convey feelings and sensations at each stage of acceptance.
