The sculptural vase "Immersion" embodies the concepts of liminality and self-discovery. Shaped like a cocoon, it creates an inward-facing space that fosters solitude and focus on personal experiences.
The vase's base is constructed from porcelain fragments, forming a unique cocoon-like structure. This shape symbolizes a transitional state, offering refuge from the external world and a sense of tranquility. Additional layers of porcelain fabric patches and threads enhance the effect of internal immersion and isolation.
"Immersion" offers viewers a space for reflection and self-exploration, providing an escape from external disturbances and the opportunity to delve into their own thoughts amidst constant change and external pressures.
